An adventure into real world English

Talk with your mom or dad or both. Ask them how they use writing in their life daily.  Post which parent you spoke to (or both) and what they said.  Also tell me if you were suprised by the writing they do.

There was an accident at work today. You managed to hurt yourself. You need to fill out the accident/injury report and turn it in to your boss.  Write up a summary of what happened, who was involved, and what injury occurred. Your boss will see this and it will be viewed by an insurance board as well, so you need to write it free from errors.  If it has grammatical mistakes, they may not honor your injury and give you money to pay the hospital bill.  (Make the pronouns in your report bold or a different color.)
